Some notes from my personal experience with the Gevi Ice Machine:
This machine has made some proper ice for our parties. I’ve even used it for 2 days straight – so the machine was on about 48 hours, without having any issues at all. It works well, but I don’t have enough freezer space or room to store the ice. The specs are accurate and produce around 28 lbs of Ice per Day. I tried several things to get even more ice out of, but nothing worked. Let’s just say 28 pounds of ice is quite enough for most occasions. When I don’t plan to use the ice maker for a while, I then clean it with white vinegar and water. And as already mentioned, the ice is really clear, drinks taste way better and ice stace “ice” than the quick cloudy ice some machines produce.

I’ve seen so many ice machines in the past 6 years that I can’t remember. This Luma unit is quite a powerful unit compared to many cheaper and smaller ice makers. It makes proper ice cubes that are clear and look really nice in a cocktail. For larger ice cubes, hold down the power button for 10 seconds when you turn it on. So overall, the Luma ice maker is very good value for the price, I absolutely love it!
